This has been publicised for this very reason and for those that have blamed us for the overall look of there floor, Old Pine floors no matter where they are or how they can be imagined are still old floors, Sure some sand up beautiful and clean but others may not, There may be shading around the edges caused by Bitchumin, Sunlight, Leaks, spills and any number of differn't things may have happened on the floor over the years, stanley cuts from where carpet is layed are sometimes very deep and will not sand out, unless we sand the boards until they are too thin, Saw cuts from plumbing work, can be fixed by replacing the boards at an extra cost, But stop there. Some floors can be well over 100 years old, Surely the fact that these floors are still here should be enough, let alone once refurbished far out value a new hardwood floor.
